"Millennials", that's what they call us. It's a term used to describe the new generation; a generation of technology and social media. My mom almost always gives me lectures on how I should be and compares me on how she was. “ Nag-sige nalang man intawun ka ug selfie nak uy! Naay pa ju’y mga nawung nga dili masabtan kung gasmile ba o wala. KAMI SA UNA, inihap ang mga pose kay mahal ang kada click ”, that is how she nags at me. That Famous line “ KAMI SA UNA ” always finds a way to spill out of her mouth. But I just keep silent on that situation and smile, but deep inside the axons of my brain, I shout “ Ma uy! Lahi naman gud ni nga henerasyon. KAMI KARUN, dili na film ang gamit, pwede ra namo i-erase ang pictures kung dili mi ganahan”. Yes! We always had those kinds of conversations.
